Description

Still damp from the shell, this blue hatchling's wings unfold with visible trembling as it tests each membrane against the light. Its head swivels constantly, taking in everything around it, and it creels softly—a sound caught between wonder and hunger. When it moves, it stumbles over its own feet, but its dark eyes miss nothing.
