Description
His hide is a rich, burnished bronze with warm copper and amber undertones, brightest across his muzzle, throat, chest, and the ridges of his shoulders, while deeper brown-bronze shading gathers along his back, haunches, and tail until the darkest portions approach the color of cooled iron. In strong sunlight, his hide seems almost molten, carrying a warm metallic sheen that makes him look as though there is a furnace burning beneath his skin. His wing membranes are darker bronze with translucent amber-brown sections that become strikingly warm when sunlight passes through them. His head is broad and expressive, with a slightly oversized muzzle, pronounced brow ridges, and large, bright eyes that seem perpetually full of opinions. He has an unusually mobile face for a dragon, capable of communicating exasperation, smugness, suspicion, and reluctant affection with little more than a tilt of his head or narrowing of his eyes. He is not the largest bronze, but he is compactly powerful, with a sturdy chest, strong shoulders, muscular legs, and a thick tail, giving him the appearance of something built to withstand heat and hard work rather than simply command a sky.
46'0" long (10'4" of it tail), 85'3" from wingtip to wingtip, 10'5" at the shoulder - broad in the wing for his length; built long and low; short in the tail
Mind-voice
Quick, bright, velvety, and perpetually amused, carrying the musical lilt of a creature who always seems to know something everyone else doesn't. A soft mental chime like coins shifting in a treasure chest.
