Age

2 months

8'4" long (1'11" of it tail), 14'6" from wingtip to wingtip, 2'4" at the shoulder - still very much a dragonet; startlingly leggy, head and shoulders above her own kind; short in the tail

Mind-voice

Her mindvoice is bright and light and always slightly ahead of you, like someone calling back from just over the next rise. It carries the smell of rain on hot stone and the feel of wind through feathers. She speaks in questions more than statements — did you see, what is that, why does it — and when she does declare something it has the plain certainty of a child who has simply looked closer than you have. Wonder is her baseline; she does not perform it. When something moves her she goes quiet rather than loud, and her presence in the mind becomes very still, very attentive, like a hand held out flat for a wild thing to come to. Anger is rare and cold and total: the wind dropping all at once. Then it passes, and she is asking about the wherry again.
