Your wiki pages, character bios and RP hooks support full markdown plus custom styling. Here's the toolbox.
Markdown
Headers (#, ##, ...), bold, italics, lists, code,
tables, footnotes, images (), and
[[wikilinks]] to other pages.
Classes and inline styles
You can attach CSS classes and inline styles to your markup, either with raw HTML:
<div class="infobox">Name: Corven<br>Craft: Harper</div>
<span style="color: darkred; letter-spacing: 2px">dramatic text</span>
or with markdown attribute lists on a block:
A centered, spaced-out line.
{: .center-block style="letter-spacing: 3px" }
All of Bootstrap 4's utility classes work (text-center, row/col,
card, badge, border, spacing like mt-3...), plus this site's
page kit:
| Class | Effect |
|---|---|
infobox |
floating right-hand fact box (the classic wiki infobox) |
frame |
a bordered, padded box |
columns-2 / columns-3 |
newspaper columns (collapse on phones) |
center-block |
centered text block |
Scripts, event handlers and javascript: links are stripped -
styling is welcome, code is not. <style> blocks are also stripped;
use inline style="..." on your own elements instead.
Google Fonts
Every wiki page and character/dragon profile has a Google Fonts
field on its edit form. List font names from
fonts.google.com separated by commas
(e.g. Tangerine, Cinzel), then use them in your content:
<h2 style="font-family: 'Tangerine'; font-size: 2.5em">A flowing title</h2>
Keep it to a few fonts per page - each one your readers' browsers must download.
Embeds
Embed a live organization roster anywhere (wiki pages, bios) with:
*(no organization 'benden-weyr')*
using the org's address from its /orgs/ page URL. Wings and other
sub-groups are child organizations, so a wing roster is just that
wing's own slug. The table updates itself as the roster changes -
no hand-maintained member lists.
